If your order consisted of a number of substantial items, these may be shipped in multiple boxes. Attached to one of the boxes will be your delivery note. The delivery note will list all of the ordered items, where items are to follow, this will be marked on your delivery note. Where there is a significant delay for part of your order, or stock is unobtainable, we will contact you to let you know. If you think that there are missing items from your order, please check the packaging thoroughly, as small items can sometimes be hidden within the internal packing. Compulsory for racing in some countries. This design is intended to keep the reins closer together for more control, and to prevent the reins from coming over the horse's head in the event of a fall. Overall length including rings is 21.5cm (8 1/2")
Maintenance
One of the biggest appeals with Zilco products is the ease of maintenance. Simply wipe clean, hose down or tub wash in warm soapy water. Hang to dry. Zilco products always maintains its strength regardless of how wet or dirty it becomes from heavy use.

The bungee martingale helps achieve a round outline through bit pressure when the horse raises his head too high. The rubber offers some elasticity to more gently encourage a softer outline and thereby improve muscle strength.

The Training range of products offer the look that traditionalists prefer, with all the benefits of synthetic materials for which Zilco is so reknowned.
The market harborough is similar to the running martingale. The split straps are double the length of a regular running martingale, as they are fed up through the rings of the bit and are connected to a dee ring on the reins. The rider is able to impose more or less restriction on the upward movement of the horse's head according to which dee ring on the rein the clips are attached to.
Contrary to the way the running martingale works, the market harborough is operated by the horse himself once in use. When the horse carries his head in the correct position, the straps through the bit rings are slack and have no effect. There is no restriction on the extension of the head and neck while jumping. It is only when the head is thrown upwards that the downward pull on the bit comes into effect.
This model is made from matt finish synthetic strapping that is softer on the hands and has a more leather-like appearance. It comes complete with rubber grip reins.

The Training range of products offer the look that traditionalists prefer, with all the benefits of synthetic materials for which Zilco is so reknowned. This model is made from matt finish strapping for a more traditional, leather-like appearance.
The running martingale, sometimes referred to as "rings" or "ring martingale" is probably the most widely used design today. It passes from the girth up the centre of the horse's chest, and the reins are passed through the ring at the end of each strap. A neck strap prevents the martingale from swinging about.
When correctly fitted, the martingale exerts downward pressure on the mouth if the horse lifts it's head above the angle of control. It's effect is most acute when used in conjuction with a jointed bit.

Signing for Parcels:
We use signature services for most of our deliveries. This is for our customer's protection. Please make sure that someone is at the address you have specified for delivery, to sign for receipt of your order. You can select a different delivery address when placing your order, such as your workplace or a neighbour’s address.
Missing items:
If your order consisted of a number of substantial items, these may be shipped in multiple boxes. Attached to one of the boxes will be your delivery note. The delivery note will list all of the ordered items, where items are to follow, this will be marked on your delivery note. Where there is a significant delay for part of your order, or stock is unobtainable, we will contact you to let you know. If you think that there are missing items from your order, please check the packaging thoroughly, as small items can sometimes be hidden within the internal packing. We often put small items within the packaging of larger items or attach clips to larger items for their security. Christmas Returns
