If your order consisted of a number of substantial items, these may be shipped in multiple boxes. Attached to one of the boxes will be your delivery note. The delivery note will list all of the ordered items, where items are to follow, this will be marked on your delivery note. Where there is a significant delay for part of your order, or stock is unobtainable, we will contact you to let you know. If you think that there are missing items from your order, please check the packaging thoroughly, as small items can sometimes be hidden within the internal packing. The Training range of products offer the look that traditionalists prefer, with all the benefits of synthetic materials for which Zilco is so reknowned.
The market harborough is similar to the running martingale. The split straps are double the length of a regular running martingale, as they are fed up through the rings of the bit and are connected to a dee ring on the reins. The rider is able to impose more or less restriction on the upward movement of the horse's head according to which dee ring on the rein the clips are attached to.
Contrary to the way the running martingale works, the market harborough is operated by the horse himself once in use. When the horse carries his head in the correct position, the straps through the bit rings are slack and have no effect. There is no restriction on the extension of the head and neck while jumping. It is only when the head is thrown upwards that the downward pull on the bit comes into effect.
This model is made from matt finish synthetic strapping that is softer on the hands and has a more leather-like appearance. It comes complete with rubber grip reins.

The running martingale, sometimes referred to as "rings" or "ring martingale" is probably the most widely used design today. It passes from the girth up the centre of the horse's chest, and the reins are passed through the ring at the end of each strap. A neck strap prevents the martingale from swinging about.
